Harris County Transit Services Suspends Bus Routes
through Tuesday, February 16, 2021 Due to Inclement Weather

Harris County Transit will suspend bus services, due to a major winter storm
expected to create extremely dangerous road conditions throughout the transit
service area through Tuesday, February 16.
Harris County Transit Service Director Ken Fickes said, “Our priority is the safety
of our drivers and passengers. We will continue to monitor the weather and road
conditions and update passengers when we are prepared to resume service.”

Harris County Transit Services provides residents outside of the Metro service area
with transportation alternatives. Through the spirit of cooperation and
coordination with other area agencies, Harris County Transit Services promotes
equitable, efficient and dependable transportation with ill offer increased mobility
economic opportunity, minimize traffic congestion and improve air quality through
reduced vehicle emissions.
